My Ambition

My ambition is to be a  teacher. It is the noblest profession in the world.

The teacher does a great service to the society. She produces well disciplined and useful citizens. People who choose teaching as their profession are fortunate because they can serve the country and also earn a living at the same time. The future of the younger generation depends on the education they receive. The teacher guides them in the correct path. 

Teaching is not a monotonous job. Unlike working in a miserable place like a hospital, the teacher is always with the young ones with smiling faces. So she spends her time happily.

The teacher is respected by everyone. He leads an exemplary life. Because of these reasons I like to be a teacher.

 GOOD   MANNERS

From kids ages As  we must learn good manners . We must always try to be well- mannered persons. Good manners are essential to live in a good society.

When we meet someone we must greet him by saying "Good Morning" or "Good Afternoon". We must greet him with a smile. When someone offers to help us we must say "Thank  you very much". That is to show our gratitude. If we want to speak to someone who is very busy we must say "Excuse me. " When we have hurt someone by an oversight we must say ''I'm very sorry .''

We must respect our parents , our teachers and our elders. We must not look down upon the poor and the weak.  We must always help them. We must appreciate the talents of others. We can say " How nice!", "That's fine", " My congratulations".

 We must always respect others. Adults need to be listened to therefore. Only well - mannered persons can become good citizen. 

 Coral Reefs

There are many places in coral reefs famous for Sri Lanka. They are Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna , Akurala and  Nilaweli . If we go there, we can see different coral reefs . Coral reefs have in under water world. 

Coral reefs are structures produced by nonliving organisms that have decomposed into fossil. Coral reefs and variety of animals , plant life  make beauty the under water world . Coral reefs are natural picturesque. Coral reefs protect the beach and the sea bed stop form erosion.

💞 MY  FAMILY 💞

There are five people in my family including me , my mother , my father and  two elder brothers.💖💖

 My family is my everything. Because they are always behind me.  💟😏

We all work in collaboration with each others. And we are all together when we are in trouble. It's really a strong  bond. I'm really lucky to have parents and two brothers like this. Our family is like a stone wall. We are love with each other. I really love my family . My family is the best family in the world. 😊💕😛

💕 The movies I like to watch the most💕

I watch movies every time I get a break. I like watch local as well as foreign movies. But I prefer to watch Korean movies. So far I have watched a lot of Korean movies. Of all the movies I watched , the one I liked the most was 👑"The Heirs " 👑 

If its story background,  A love affair between a rich boy and a poor girl.  The two main characters in the film are Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang. This film  is a very loving story.

the film shows how they overcome their love in the face of all the problems in their relationship. Not only that, By watching Korean movies, I also have the ability to speak  Korean to some extent. However you can get to know the culture of another country by watching movies.

 💦WATER💦

Water is our life blood. Life is impossible without water. Though two third of the world is covered by water, There is a little of it for our consumption. 

As Sri Lankans, we are fortunate enough to have enough water. We must always take care of the water resource. We must always try to protect water springs. Because even  a drop is precious.

 A wonderful story of two good friends 

In a pond fish and a frog were very friendly. One day the frog came out of the pond for the first time and looked at the environment. The frog went back to the pond and told the fish about the beauty of the environment outside the pond. 

Then the fish told the frog that he wanted to go there too. But the frog said that the environment was not suitable for the fish and warned the fish not to go there. But one day the fish came out of the pond secretly to the frog. The moment he came out, the fish began to squirm, unable to breathe. 

Hearing this sound, the frog brought the fish back to the pond. The fish apologized to the frog for going out of the pond, not accepting his friend's words. Not only that , but the fish thanked the frog for saving his life.

  

A PARTY I ATTENDED

Last week I attended a party. It was my friend rasangi's birthday party.

Most of our classmates had attended this party. Rasangi and her parents welcomed me warmly.

we all talked about the past and were happy with the sweet memories of school. Because we met after a long time.

We were served with cake , biscuits and other sweet meats. Also we were given ice coffee and faluda . kasun and pasindu had brought musical instruments. So we had fine music and singing. Not only that, we danced and took beautiful photos. We all wished rasangi a happy birthday. I gave her beautiful presents. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly on this day. 

my hobby

My hobby is collecting stamps. It is a very useful hobby. It is also very interesting.

I started collecting stamps five years ago. Now I have about three hundred stamps. I have both local and foreign stamps. My mother helps me in my hobby. She brings me stamps.

I have two stamps albums. I have pasted all the stamps in my albums. There are different shapes. Some are square while others are triangular.

There are pictures of great persons, animals, birds, buildings and vehicles on the stamps. I can learn many things about the culture of other countries through the stamps. I can spend my leisure in a useful manner because of my hobby.  

 A Beautiful Town In Sri Lanka

               There are several beautiful towns in Sri Lanka. Kandy is one of them.

                    Kandy is the main town in the Central Province. The world famous Temple of The Tooth is situated in Kandy. It is a sacred place as the "Lord Buddha's Tooth Relic" is enshrined there. The Kandy Perahera too is world famous. It is held in the month of July every year.

 

    

                    Not only local tourists , but also thousands of foreign tourists come to visit this attractive procession. The Maligawa Tusker takes the sacred Tooth Relic on its back round the town. The are whip crackers , and Kandyan dancers too in this procession. 

        The most beautiful botanical garden of Sri Lanka is situated a few miles away from Kandy. It is in Peradeniya. It is full of nice flowers and various kinds of trees. It has become a popular place among foreign tourists too.
